Since I have been a member of deviantART, I think I have improved a lot, in particular in the technic process of creation. I used to create a lot of images, quite quickly, but they were not always as good as I wanted them to. Then I began to make a kind of rough copy of the image I had in my mind, before I start to work on the final image. But I still needed to finish my work before the night. This time, I took my time. This deviation needed three days, and a big amount of patience and perseverance. 'A Walk on the Purple Moon' is one of my favourite works so far, with 'Cold Stomach' and 'Dried Asphodels'. The three images are really different one from another, but I think they have a lot in common. What is "The Purple Moon"? This is an allegory for my inner, secret, dreamlike but also tortured world. This is also the title and theme of my personal website. Thanks to this site, I met a lot of lovely people who have always encourage me to follow my artistic goals. This image is my own way to thank them for their friendship and their constant support. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
