Story :
Tori Amos' "Tales of a Librarian" has just been released, and it gave me a lot of inspiration for this deviation. I think that Tori's music has a deep strength despite its obvious sensibility. Songs like "Precious Things", "Silent All These Years", "Crucify" or "Cruel" are very precious for me, in a way I'd say that they talk to me. I want to improve my style, and at the moment I am fed up with my usual "all blue" or "all purple" manips. It will come back, but this time I tried to shade this one, in the colours but also in its meaning. My works are very meaningful, and since one or two months, I put all I have to say in the images I create, neglecting words. I don't really know why it went in such a religious way. Christianity's aesthetics influence me a lot, even though I am an atheist. You can see it as you want, there is absolutely no ideological nor religious message in this image. It is a symbol, for example a symbol for the faith that you can find in art, nature, or love. Credits : Stock Xchng, ~liquid-venus-stock, ~amethyste-stock, `aleksandra |
