She is Arana, commissioned by the French fanzine "Fees Divers", a new French fairy-themed fanzine.
"Fees Divers" first issue, entitled "Sombre Feerie" ("Dark Faery") was published in April 2007. I will post more technical and symbolical information about Arana as soon as I get my portfolio back (it got hacked -_-). Je trouve cette illustration splendide. Les tons sont merveillement bien coordonnés.
