The most orgasmic book on Earth!

Journal Entry: Wed Oct 1, 2008, 5:53 AM
Hello guys!

At least an update in kReEsTaL's world! I have to say I've been pretty busy with my memoire, my blog and my several online projects. Everything's taking good shape, I'm impatient to finish everything and start something new. Call it workaholism if you want :giggle:

The Circus, 1870-195 by TASCHEN

The Circus by TASCHEN If I'm writing here today it's to share one of my recent discoveries with you: "The Circus, 1870-1950", published by TASCHEN, might be the greatest book on Earth.

The book does not only provide an astounding collection of 670 pages and nearly 900 color and b&w illustrations and photographs, it also takes you back to the exciting time of the vintage circus phenomenon.

The Circus gathers rare poster reproductions, photographs taken from the Kodak archives or borrowed from particular collections, as well as some brilliant typographical ephemera.

Organized in nine chapters, the multilingual texts focus on exotic beasts and freaks, on nature wonders such as acrobats and fire-eaters, on emancipated female performers, and on backstage complicity. Easy to read and well documented, The Circus will take you to the pre-Hollywood era of American entertainment.

This XL book measures 30×45 cm, weighs 17.6 pounds, and is beautifully printed and bound. Judge by yourself:

This book is a must-have for any circus, freaks, tattoo and nature wonders lover.

The Circus costs 150€/$200, but since Christmas is in less than 3 months, it might be a wonderful gift idea (for you or for a special friend) :santa:

I own the book, and I can't get enough. Everytime I look at it, I discover new pages, new pictures, and read some paragraphs. This is one of the most gorgeous books I own (and I own a lot of art books).

Hello guys,

I wish you all the very best for 2008! I hope New Year's Eve was a blast, and that you drank a lot of water to stay fighting fit ;-)

2007 has been a overbusy, overbooked and generally speaking an exhausting year; hopefully I'll have more time in 2008 to develop my own websites, which suffered due to lack of time, and take more care of my numerous friends on the Internet. I'm sorry I couldn't handle to keep in touch with everyone, I do regret it a lot. I do hope I'll have more time to clean my online profiles and galleries in order to use them more effectively.

Not to speak about the lack of updates regarding my digital work. I did complete a few commissions, though, which I'm very proud of. My current priority is La Lune Mauve's final changes before it strikes back, as well as successfully finish my studies in communication and computerized media.

Thank you for your patience & friendship! Take care

Yours truly,

Marie aka kReEsTaL
